Fire truck and vehicle collision in Magnolia leaves two people dead – Burlington County Times

MAGNOLIA — Two Pine Hill residents died in a collision here between their car and a fire truck here, authorities say.

John Bishop, 68, and Marie Endicott, 75, were fatally injured Wednesday morning in a crash at White Horse Pike and Warwick Road,  according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Their vehicle collided around 9:55 a.m. with a Lawnside Fire Company truck that was responding to a cardiac arrest call in Magnolia, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement Thursday.

Three firefighters who were inside the fire truck sustained minor injuries.

An investigation is underway into the accident, which snarled traffic in the heavily traveled area, the prosecutor’s office said.
